The Better Living Campaign

This internal “campaign” is only recognizable to Walmart employees, but given that it’s the largest employer in America, that’s quite a few people. The problem they had was getting employees to take advantage of the many benefits offered to them so we delivered a fun, idealized version of living. Better Living meant getting to enjoy your life without stress, because Walmart takes care of its employees. The campaign saw most programs double in participants and enabled Walmart to pioneer in house medical services that are a gold standard today.

The Work

Capturing the right photography was key to nailing this campaign so w knew we needed real people living their best lives. Just like the bright colors of Walmart’s logo, our designs conveyed the feeling of easy living that’s possible at Walmart. When turnarounds were quick, we turned to stock photography, but always culled through endless options before finding the perfect fit. Through perseverance, we were able to push Walmart out of their comfort zone and into the 21st century.
